REF:
Jane’s father died suddenly after a short illness to what they suspect to be hypertension and ulcers. This changed the course of life in the family as it left their mother as their sole provider. The mother is unable to provide adequately for the family challenged with her health because of hypertension.
Jane used to stay with the mother who sometimes sells bananas and also goes working on people’s plantations to support the family.
In a family of five, some of Jane’s siblings had to drop out of school because they had nobody to support their education. Like many children, Jane had to do household work like cooking, chopping firewood, fetching water and also digging on people’s gardens to supplement on the family’s income. During her free time she skips the rope with her friends.
Now at Berakhah childcare, Jane is thriving and participates in dancing and singing. She says she found the love of Christ and she is full of life, the bond with others has grown. She is in primary seven and would like to become an optician when she grows. We are grateful for your sponsorship to help Jane grow mentally, spiritually and professionally.
