Sarah is 17 years old and in senior two class.
Sarah is the fifth of six children. She lost her father at two years old after a long illness and since then she lived with her mother, a peasant farmer, who struggles with poor health and could not fully provide for Sarah’s needs. She frequently fell sick and this could worry Sarah so much who had started taking on the house responsibilities at a young age, Sarah would do all the home chores and also to work for people in the community to be able to get something to eat at home. Thankfully, Sarah was welcomed into Berakhah Child Care, where she now enjoys the love and support of a new family. Surrounded by other children with similar experiences, she has found comfort and strength in her faith. Sarah loves singing and dancing as it brings her joy and helps her forget her worries.
