Sarah is 22 years old and she is currently in Senior 5. Sarah lost her father when she was 6 years old. She and other 9 siblings were left under the care of their mother who was a peasant farmer. Taking care of the 10 children was such a heavy burden for her, and since she couldn't put all of them in school she decided to put some out of school and do farm for people to be able to get something to eat. Life became so difficult for the family that even Sarah who was the youngest couldn't attend school regularly because of lack of school fees and basic needs. Sarah would dig, cook, wash utensils, fetch water, wash clothes and sometimes do quarrying to help her mother sustain the family. Later on, Sarah joined Berakhah childcare after she was identified from the community. Berakhah has supported Sarah since she was 13 years, she would like to be a teacher after her studies and she loves sports and singing . At Berakhah childcare Sarah gets all her basic needs, she goes to school, receives medical treatment and she's happy because Berakhah childcare gave her opportunity to enjoy her childhood moments.
