Fifteen-year-old Gerald has endured immense tragedy, losing his father at three and his mother at six. His maternal grandparents, who lead modest lives as peasants, took him in and raised him, though providing for him was difficult despite his efforts to help at home. Now a 6th Grade student, Gerald dreams of becoming a pilot, and through Berakhah Childcare, he has gained access to necessities like food and shelter, along with opportunities to enjoy singing and dancing.
