Shinah is 7 years old and she lives with her grandmother ever since her parents separated, her grandmother is a peasant farmer who takes care of 7 other grand children and they're all of school going age. She entirely depends on the sales she makes once in a while from the garden produce and some tokens from her relatives, due to the little income she gets, Shinah's grandmother can not afford to pay school fees and provide other basic needs have never stayed together Shinah ends up being a school fees defaulter. Shinah loves eating irish potatoes and beef and loves making crafts.
