Naomi is 10yrs old and in grade two and lives with her grandfather following the separation of her parents when she was 1 yr old. Her grandfather is a peasant farmer who has to provide for Naomi and other 5 grand children, his only source of income is selling firewood to the community which barely earns him enough to meet all the needs of the family. This has greatly affected Naomi's performance in school due to irregular attendance in school, Naomi's dream is to become a lawyer to help her community.
