Christopher is 12 years old who is living a hopeful life with his father and stepmother after the death of his mother when he was 8 years old. His father is a carpenter and his step mom is a peasant farmer. They struggle so much to make ends meet because their businesses do not yield much, Christopher would like to be an engineer after his studies to support his father and mother. He's a cheerful boy both at home and at school though he's attendance is irregular due to lack of school fees. He helps his parents in the garden and he loves doing house chores with his siblings.
