Patience is 16 years old in grade five and she stays at Berakha Child Care Ministry, she is a victim of sickle cells which has greatly affected her life as a child, Patience's parents referred to her sickness as misfortune and they never cared for her, at the point of death, Berakha spotted her out from the community and took her in under the authorities of the village heads. Patience was taken to hospital and found out she had sickle cells, she started recieving the right treatment and she's healthy now. She gets medication on time, she goes to school and she feeds well. Patience has a dream to become a doctor and treat people especially those with sickle cells condition. Patience needs support to continue receiving her expensive medication and to complete her education.
