Abudul is a courageous 3-and-a-half-year-old boy currently in grade one. He lives with his paternal grandmother, a devoted and hardworking peasant farmer who has taken on the responsibility of raising him. Despite her tireless efforts, her limited income from farming makes it difficult to meet the needs of her household and provide for Abudul's medical care and education.
Abudul's health is a significant concern, as he suffers from breathing problems suspected to be related to sickle cell disease, asthma, or a heart disorder, though his exact condition remains undiagnosed. The family’s financial challenges have made it impossible for his grandmother to afford proper medical evaluations and treatment, leaving his health issues unresolved.
In addition to his health struggles, Abudul faces challenges in accessing quality education. His grandmother has difficulty paying his school fees, which adds to the burden she already carries in providing the basic necessities for her family.
