Jeremiah is a young boy currently living with his maternal grandmother after his parents separated. His mother left him under her grandmother’s care to move to town in search of job opportunities. However, she has not provided financial support for the family. Jeremiah’s grandmother, a peasant farmer, struggles with limited income to meet the household's basic needs.
