Sarah was left with the mother who is a peasant farmer. Her mother digs on her small piece of land so as to provide for the family. Sarah is the last born of her mother out of the ten children although they don`t share the same father. Sarah lost her father to what is suspected to be malaria when she was six years. Life thereafter became very difficult because her father was no more yet the family depended on him. Sarah would dig, cook, wash utensils, fetch water, wash clothes and sometimes do quarrying to help her mother sustain the family. Sarah is sixteen years in primary seven and looks forward to becoming a teacher.
Sarah was identified from the community and now lives at Berakhah childcare which makes her happy because all her basic needs are met. She likes singing and dancing with a passion which has helped her build her self-esteem. This can be seen through her interaction with the new family. Your sponsorship will open doors for her to re-write her story! Thank you! God bless you!
