Gloria is a fifteen year old girl in primary six. She is the only child of the mother but the second child of her father. Her step sister is married and Gloria`s mother died of what is suspected to be HIV/AIDS when Gloria was eight years. She currently stays with her father who is suspected to be HIV positive. He was a casual laborer but due to continuous illness, he resorted to peasant farming with no defined income to support his daughter sufficiently. During her free time, Gloria likes skipping the rope and playing netball with her friends. She wants to become a nurse. Gloria does all the house hold chores to support the family.
