Sofiana is an 8-year-old second grader who lives with her hardworking peasant farmer parents. They also work as casual laborers to provide for the family’s basic needs and to support Sofiane's education. Despite their tireless efforts, the limited resources available from their work make financial stability an ongoing challenge. Yet, Sofiane excels academically and dreams of one day becoming a medical doctor.
