Aggie is a 12-year-old fourth grader in Uganda who lives within a polygamous family of seven members with her two peasant farmer parents. Her parents face significant financial challenges due to limited farming yields, which depend heavily on favorable weather. As a result, they struggle to meet both the family's basic needs and the school fees for their children. Although Aggie aspires to become a lawyer one day, she is often sent home from school because of unpaid dues. Thankfully, her health remains good with no underlying medical issues.
