Doreen, a six-year-old top-class kindergarten student, lives with her peasant farmer parents, who struggle financially to provide for their large family of ten. Despite their commitment to supporting their children, limited farming resources make it difficult to meet basic needs, including education and building a proper shelter, as their current home is in a poor and uninhabitable state. Due to inadequate nutrition, Doreen has become malnourished and suffers from ascariasis, placing her health in a concerning state. With the right support, she can receive medical care, proper nutrition, and the stable foundation needed to thrive and pursue her education.
