Lamulah is a six year old girl and she is the first born of two children though of different fathers. She was conceived by her mother when the mother was still at home where upon she was born and left with the maternal grandmother from nine months to date. The grandmother is a peasant farmer. Her father is unknown and the mother got married elsewhere but she is unable to meet Lamulah`s needs sufficiently. She is in primary one and believes that God will open for her a door to become a teacher. She helps her maternal grandmother to clean around the home and fetch water.
