Rebecca is an 11-year-old fourth grader who lives with her peasant farmer parents in a large family of 10. Although her father supplements their income with a motorcycle riding business, the family's earnings are insufficient to cover overwhelming bills. Consequently, financial constraints often result in children being sent home due to unpaid school fees, putting Rebecca’s academic journey and her dream of pursuing a catering career in jeopardy.
