Prosy is a three-year-old girl living in a rural Ugandan village with her peasant farmer parents. While her family struggles to secure basic needs and support the education of their other school-going children, her father supplements their income with carpentry work. However, limited capital restricts the growth of his business. This ongoing financial hardship has taken a toll on Posy's health, as she endures persistent stomach aches and a loss of appetite, and her parents are unable to afford the proper medical care she needs.
