Anderson, a fourteen-year-old boy in fourth grade, dreams of becoming a military officer. He lives with both his peasant farmer parents, who face financial struggles in providing for their basic needs and offering quality education for their school-going children. Their limited income from farming, often affected by poor yields due to bad weather and crop pests, exacerbates their challenges. Despite their hard work and commitment to supporting the family, financial constraints frequently result in their children being sent home from school for unpaid fees.
