Edward, a 7-year-old in Grade Two, lives with his maternal grandmother following his parents’ separation during his infancy. His mother, unable to support him and unsure of his father’s whereabouts, entrusted him to her parents. Despite her hard work as a peasant farmer, Edward’s grandmother faces financial difficulties caused by limited resources and unpredictable weather conditions. Edward dreams of becoming a driver to support his family in the future.
