Gerald’s early childhood was marked with tragedy. When he was just three years old his father, part of the Uganda Peoples` Defense Force, was shot to death, and at six years old his mother died of unknown causes. These tragedies forced Gerald to live with his maternal grandparents who are peasants of meager means. Even though Gerald would help around the home by sweeping the house, collecting clean water, and washing plates, they struggled to put food on the table.
Gerald is in the 4th grade and wants to become a pilot when he grows up. At Berakhah childcare, life has positively changed in his behavior and access to basic needs like food and shelter. He participates in singing and dancing. Your sponsorship will help Gerald attain a meaningful life physically, mentally and spiritually. Thank you! God bless you!
