Isaac, a resilient 12-year-old boy, has endured significant challenges since losing his father, leaving his single mother a peasant farmer struggling to care for him and his siblings. In response to these hardships, his maternal grandmother stepped in to take on the responsibility of providing for Isaac and his siblings, striving to ensure they lead a desirable life. Despite her dedication, the limited resources from peasantry farming, coupled with unpredictable harvests due to bad weather, make it difficult to consistently meet the family's needs, including covering Isaac's boarding school fees.
