Jonathan, a 6-year-old first grader, lives with his maternal grandmother following his parents' separation when he was two years old. These difficulties have hindered her ability to offer Jonathan proper medication for his ongoing eye condition, which he has had since birth, and to pay his school fees, impacting his academic and daily performance. Jonathan dreams of becoming a teacher in the future.
