Abel, a ten-year-old boy in fourth grade, dreams of becoming a medical doctor. After his parents separated, his father remarried, and Abel now lives with his stepmother. His mother's whereabouts remain unknown. Currently, Abel is under the care of his father and stepmother, both of whom are peasant farmers. They struggle to provide for Abel and his siblings due to limited resources from farming, which is frequently affected by bad weather, leading to poor yields.
