Elisa lives with both of his parents, who are peasant farmers with limited income to support their family. Unfortunately, Elisa faces a painful rectal condition that causes frequent distress. His parents’ financial struggles have prevented them from seeking appropriate medical treatment for him, and his education suffers as he is regularly chased from school for unpaid fees.
